ABOUT THE TASK FORCE: A Community Health Advisory Committee (CHAC) reviewed data from an extensive survey regarding health issues of concern to McLean County Residents. Lung cancer was on of the 5 major concerns and radon is known as the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer, following smoking. This task force was established to study radon levels in McLean County and to help residents learn about the presence of radon by testing by providing educational materials and public awareness.
