This web site has been developed in order to educate residents of McLean Country about the possible health risks of prolonged exposure to radon gas. The McLean County Radon Awareness Program is funded through a grant from the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety.

This site contains information about radon, and more specifically, the potential for exposure in McLean County. You will also find information about testing your home and other buildings for the presence of radon, how to receive a coupon for a radon test kit, mitigation of radon gas and the answers to some frequently asked questions and myths about radon.
